What Your Chamber Does For You

The Yellville Area Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, agricultural, recreational, civic, and general interests of the community and its trade area. It is the only organization that devotes all of its time to the promotion of Yellville. The chamber is governed by a 9-member Board of Directors elected by the membership. Three members are newly elected to the board yearly, each serving three-year terms. The chamber operates through funds received by the membership for dues, from its annual events, such as Turkey Trot, and donations. The chamber serves you.

The Chamber is Your Information Bureau

The chamber furnishes information about the Yellville area and Marion County in order to promote growth of our community, tourism and retirement. The chamber is also your goodwill representative. The chamber replies to hundreds of inquiries from mail, telephone and web site about the Yellville area for relocation purposes, tourism and retirement, and, as such, serves as an advertising agency. Information about our community is provided to new residents of our community, tourists and visitors to the chamber office and inquiries from around the country by way of the Yellville brochure and its informational insert, calendar of events, area attractions, educational system, government and Marion County profile.

The chamber of commerce web site (www.yellville.com) provides area information, public services, and lists all business and individual members. All members may have a link to the web site by providing their information to the chamber for their web site and e-mail address. The chamber greets new residents to our community by providing them with information useful to relocating to the Yellville area. The chamber uses the following sources to promote, publicize, and advertise our chamber, its members, annual events and our area.
